Community Involvement

At TTTC, in addition to offering the variety of courses which we have at the college, we are engaging in supporting special groups such as orphan children and disabled people.

In 2023, for the first time, we launched our initiative of donating materials and providing spiritual services with the aim of encouraging them to find true happiness, faith, love and kindness. Therefore on October 02nd, 2023, we decided to show our love at the AMANI OPHANS HOME MBIGILI in downtown Iringa. The children were happy and we saw how we can make things great for them, even though what we did seemed small to us. For them it was remarkable and put happiness in their hearts.

In 2024s we have gone farther with this initiative by going to the disabled children’s foundation center called the MAASAI MAMA HERITAGE FOUNDATION. It is located in the rural Iringa Izazi ward. This foundation center is not a big center but it has been doing a great work in Iringa by providing huge support to the disabled children from the Maasai society. We wanted to donate some materials, and to share our love, sympathy and goodness with them.

In 2025, we visited a prison where we brought materials and shared information about the college with them. In turn, the officials and a number of prisoners shared information about the prison and its programs with. It was a very informative and rewarding experience for our students and staffs. We were told that it was also greatly appreciated by the prisoners and prison staff.

We also have plans to help other groups like vulnerable street children, women, elders and people in hospitals. We will support them through direct visits and providing goods and services to them.

“At TTTC, although we are collecting fees from our students in order to operate our college, we are also giving back to the communities, building trust, and making it a priority to meet with special groups”.
