ANALYSIS OF THE SITUATION

Tanzania has a young population with almost half of the Tanzanians aged under 15 years and 32% are between the ages of 15-34. Unfortunately, a large percentage of the total youth workforce is unemployed, and a much higher percentage is underemployed. With increasing URBAN DEVELOPMENT, the shift from Agriculture to Modern trades is increase day to day, and the service industry increases significant employment opportunities especially for the urban young women in Tanzania. Another major employment opportunity can be found in the beauty, Saloon and Cosmetic Sector and tailoring and dress design (Fashion Designs), Secretarial course, Information Technology (IT), Knitting Course and Catering services. There is an increasing demand for such as and are rapidly increasing. Cooking and beauty are increasingly appearing on the local market yet, especially in urban areas, product quality and after sales services are key challenges.


TURNBULL TECH TRAINING COLLEGE (TTTC)

TTTC was established in 2017 by the National Council for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (NACTVET) with FULL REG: NUMBER: REG/NACTVET/1320; under the Ministry of Education with the general objective: To impart and strengthen citizens' knowledge and skills to fight three enemies 1: Ignorance 2: Poverty and 3: Diseases to achieve economic, social, political and cultural development with the following specific objectives; To enable Tanzanians to develop Tanzanian culture, To enable Tanzanians to reach high standards in their work, To prepare Tanzanians to be able to utilize very well their intelligence for their personal or public effective decision- making in the right manner, To prepare adult Tanzanians to be able to grow a personally and complete person in their community, and also to assist and prepare Tanzanians to be good citizens in their country and the world in general.

TTTC is ready to have a partnership from others in different projects around the World which will extremely meet our conditions as its main goal is to contribute to the elimination of poverty and promote the development of industry/business, thus contributing to economic development through the provision of services operated by the need that brings employment and income to the user of the service in East Africa particularly in Tanzania.


MEET OUR PARTNERS

Turnbull Tech Training College ( TTTC ) has partnered with the following stakeholders to support the citizen's knowledge and skills in the community particularly the students who are coming from the poor families in Tanzania and who didn't complete their studies at school from standard seven and secondary schools. Therefore Turnbull Tech Training College ( TTTC ) together with our partners we are trying to support them making sure that, we are bringing back their happiness again in community.
